STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Sweden's trade minister Ann Linde will succeed Margot Wallstrom as the country's foreign minister, public broadcaster SVT reported on Monday, citing unidentified sources.
Wallstrom, a Social Democrat as is Linde, announced on Friday she would resign after five years on the post to spend more time with her family.
Wallstrom told Swedish radio on Friday she expected Prime Minister Stefan Lofven to announce her successor on Tuesday when parliament resumes after summer break.
A spokeswoman for Linde, who has formerly also held the role as Sweden's EU minister, declined to comment.
