MILAN (Reuters) - AC Milan have signed Croatia forward Ante Rebic on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt with Portugal's Andre Silva moving in the other direction, the Serie A club said on Monday.

Milan will be the sixth club for Rebic, who is still only 25, and his second in Italy, where he has already played for Fiorentina and Verona.

He scored nine goals in 38 appearances in all competitions for Eintracht last season. He also played for Croatia in last year's World Cup when they reached the final.

Milan initially signed Silva, 23, from Porto two years ago for around 40 million euros (36.3 million pounds) but he managed only two Serie A goals in 24 outings in his first season in Italy.

He spent last season on loan at Sevilla where he scored nine goals in 27 outings but was troubled by a knee injury towards the end of the campaign. That also led him to miss out on the Nations League finals for Portugal.

He has a more impressive scoring ratio at international level with 15 goals in 33 appearances.
