What happens if the UK leaves the EU without a deal? The Raw Politics panel discusses.

The British government has announced it will be ramping up preparations for the prospect of it failing to reach a deal with the EU over Brexit.

Watch above as the panel on Euronews' Raw Politics show discusses what this means and what is likely to happen next.

"Now the UK is talking about 3,500 military personnel on the street for possibly looting, possibly border security... chaos would probably be afoot", said Euronews' Europe Correspondent Shona Murray.

"Would a no-deal Brexit really be that bad?" Euronews' political editor Darren McCaffrey asked.

The Telegraph's James Crisp said he did not believe a no deal situation would be as bad as some reports suggest.

"If it was really as bad as we're being told, the only reason we'd have soldiers for border security would be to stop people leaving," he joked.

"No one should say that no deal is a good idea. The people who do, frankly, are idiots, liars," he added.
