It's been three months since the Dahrabou family disembarked the Aquarius, the rescue ship that highlighted Europe's lack of coherence and clarity in regards to immigration policy.

Anelise Borges was a passenger aboard the ship as it was rejected by Italy and Malta before finally being allowed to dock in Valencia, Spain. She reached out to Ali and Miriam Dahrabou and their baby daughter Miral to check up on their progress since their arrival on European shores. They tell her of the sense of rejection after failing to be accepted in France, Italy and Malta, and their hopes for a new life in Spain.
