A pole-to-flag victory at the Canadian Grand Prix for Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari, a win that gives him the lead in the drivers' championship by a slender single point, but with the engine upgrade looking this good Lewis Hamilton may worry about the races to come.

The reigning champion could only finish fifth, although teammate Valteri Bottas came second, scoring big points for Mercedes.

Max Verstappen took his Red Bull by the horns into third. Daniel Ricciardo was fourth, with Kimi Räikkönen sixth.
