Syrian forces are trying to reclaim the region
Carrying their possessions, residents of Eastern Gouta flee as smoke billows behind them
These latest refugees are fleeing the rebel-held town of Hamouria as it's besieged by government forces which are being supported by Russian air strikes.
The area is close to the country's capital of Damascus and has been in rebel hands since two thousand and twelve.
The Syrian government claim to have gained control of the region - something rebel forces were quick to deny.
In the seven years since the war started twelve million Syrians have been driven from their homes.
