In the 30th year of the anniversary of his death, singer Roy Orbison is to go on tour in hologram form.
Almost 30 years after his death, Roy Orbison is once again to appear in concert, but this time in hologram form.
BASE Entertainment has collaborated with the singer’s estate to create the ‘Roy Orbison: In Dreams’ tour. Complete with live orchestra, it is due to hit the road in the UK in April.
While it’s not the first time holograms have been used to represent deceased performers, the company claims it’s “the first worldwide hologram tour ever of an iconic superstar of this variety.”
