Donald Trump has refuted speculation he is about to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller. The US president is investigating allegations of Russian meddling and possible collusion between Trump’s team and Moscow during the 2016 presidential campaign.
And now Trump’s lawyers claim his transition team’s emails were improperly obtained.
The accusation adds fuel to the fire. The Trump administration denies working with Russia during the election, with the president labelling the inquiry a ‘witch hunt’.
