Mexico’s deadly earthquake on Tuesday happened 32 years to the day since another devastating tremor hit the country, killing more than 10,000 people.

This week’s 7.1-magnitude quake was the deadliest since the 1985 disaster.

It was reported that it struck just hours after emergency drills to mark the anniversary of the mid-80s earthquake took place.

It came less than two weeks since an earthquake in southern Mexico killed nearly 100 people.

This is how Mexico has been hit by earthquakes over the last three decades.
