Walter Becker, bassist and co-founder of influential jazz-rock band Steely Dan has died aged 67. The news was announced on his website, which did not disclose the cause of death.

Becker formed Steely Dan with Donald Fagen in 1972.

The band’s most famous hits include ‘Reelin in the Years’, ‘Do It Again’ and ‘Rikki Don’t Lose That Number’.
