It’s been a very long time coming but legendary singer-songwriter Charles Aznavour finally has a star of Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.

Known to many as the French Frank Sinatra, Aznavour has sold more than 100-million records in 80 countries and sings and speaks many languages.

He credits his longevity to his shared cultural heritage: “I am French and Armenian. To separate both is impossible like if you put the milk in the coffee, you can’t separate them. I’m like that. I’m an Armenian name, Charles Aznavourian and in French I’m Charles Aznavour. It’s fantastic to have two different cultures working for you if you want to do something.”

At 93, Aznavour is still performing and expected to go on an international tour next year.
