A man shot in the centre of Brussels after attacking two soldiers with a knife, has now died, Brussels prosecutors said.

They added that the man was in his 30s and ‘not known for terrorist activities’ although the incident was being treating as an attempted terrorist murder.
The man was critically wounded but still alive and taken to hospital.
The soldiers suffered light injuries. one in the face and the other in the hand.
