Two men injured in Pamplona bull run

The annual Running of the Bulls festival in the Spanish city of Pamplona has left two men injured after being gored by the animals.

One man was tossed in the air then dragged along the cobbles under the hooves of one of the massive creatures.

The victim, believed to be a tourist, was knocked unconscious.

He was then attended to by the medical staff.

The annual nine-day Los San Fermines festival was immortalised in Ernest Hemingway’s 1926 novel ‘The Sun Also Rises’ and attracts thousands of foreign tourists a year.
