On the fourth of July, the US celebrates Independence Day, just as many other countries do their own national days – with fireworks.

But the US is more safety conscious than some other nations so the Consumer Product Safety Commission has produced a video to show Americans how to celebrate without seriously injuring themselves.
The guidance includes:
How not to blind bystanders with a rocket
How not to blow your hand off
How not to blow your head off
How not to blow your entire house up
The video is fairly extreme and features maiming and serious injury of mannequins. Watch it at your own risk, but it could save you from a nasty accident.
