Concert for the victims of Portugal's worst ever forest fire

Portugal has paid tribute to the victims of the country’s worst ever forest fires with a fund raising concert in Lisbon entitled “Together for Everyone.”

Stars from Portugal’s rich array of musical talent performed in a night of high emotion.

Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa is the president of Portugal :
“It’s a rich and unique national wave it is exceptional in such a short time, but it shows what a great people we are and tonight is an incentive to do more every day and every night. This is the beginning of the rest of our lives.”

The wildfires claimed the lives of 62 people in the central Pedrógão Grande region.

Hundreds of firefighters battled the intense blaze, four were among the 54 people injured.
