Emirates Team New Zealand through to America's Cup final in Bermuda.

Peter Burling’s Emirates Team New Zealand has sailed through to the final of the America’s Cup.

His boat, which was badly-damaged when it capsized on Tuesday, pushed Land Rover BAR’s campaign to an early end in Bermuda, by gaining the five wins needed to move forward to the last stage of the competition.

The other semi-final is less straightforward. Sweden’s Artemis Racing team had a hat trick of victories against SoftBank Team Japan, turning what was a 3-1 deficit into a 4-3 advantage.

They’ll go head-to-head once again to determine who will face the Kiwis in the final.
