Nine peopleshot dead following dinner party dispute.

Russian authorities have ordered a psychological evaluation on a man who is accused of shooting dead nine people following a dinner party argument in a village north-west of Moscow.

The suspect who has been named as 45-year-old Sergei Yegorov was reportedly drunk at the time of the incident. One of the bodies is said to have been found in the trunk of a car.

Interior Ministry Press Representative Vadim Levshin gave the following statement:
“The conflict happened after consuming alcoholic drinks. During the drinking, the suspect left the table, returned to his country house for the weapon after which he carried out the shooting.”

Yegorov is expected to remain in police custody for at least 90 days.
