Man arrested after Stockholm mosque burned

Sweden’s largest Shi’ite mosque the
Imam Ali Islamic Centre in Stockholm has been the target of a suspected arson attack.

No one was injured in the blaze, which police say was ignited from outside the building.

Authorities have arrested one man.

Hours before the fire the mosque was occupied by 500 people, but only a few remained when the flames erupted.

Police say the facade suffered major damage.

A forensic examination is being carried out.
