Two goals in the first 22 minutes from Argentine forward Paulo Dybala put Juve in the driving seat, and Giorgio Chiellini headed in a third ten minutes into the second half.
Barcelona are faced with a mountain to climb if they are to progress to the semi-finals, but they did manage to overturn a 4-0 deficit against Paris Saint Germain last round.
