wave of violence
The death brings to 41 the number of Israelis killed in a wave of violence that broke out in October 2015.
The same violence has claimed the lives of 259 Palestinians. Most of the Palestinians killed were carrying out knife, gun or car-ramming attacks, according to Israeli authorities.
Others were shot dead during protests, clashes, or in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
