Hatching eggs can be a difficult process especially if you are not a bird… but that’s not putting off French performance artist Abraham Poincheval.

Hatching eggs can be a difficult process especially if you are not a bird… but that’s not putting off French performance artist Abraham Poincheval.

He’s attempting it and reckons it will take him from 21-26 days.

Poincheval says by getting up close and intimate with different species and natural objects he can explore varying experiences of time.

Last month he did it from inside a rock and back in 2014 he climbed inside a bear sculpture for a fortnight, eating worms and beetles to mirror a bears diet…….all in the name of art.
