Suspect Hubert Caouissin was present at the search in Brittany.
Police say a row over inheritance is behind the tragedy.

Caouissin, 46, confessed to killing his brother-in-law Pascal Troadec, his wife Brigitte and their two adult children with a crowbar at their home in Nantes.
The family has been missing since mid-February.
