Lower energy prices reduced eurozone inflation in November.
The EU’s statistics office Eurostat said consumer prices in the 19 countries using the euro fell 0.1 percent from October.
Items that were more expensive included meals in restaurants and cafes, rents and cigarettes.
Compared with November last year inflation was up by 0.6 percent. That was higher than the annual increases the previous two months – 0.5 percent in October and 0.4 percent in September.
Core inflation – which strips out volatile energy and food prices – also fell 0.1 percent month-on-month and rose 0.8 percent annually.
