In Kenya, dozens of people are reported dead after a fireball from an oil tanker engulfed several vehicles on a main highway.

It happened late on Saturday night, around 10 kilometres north of the central town of Naivasha.

The tanker – en-route to Uganda – is said to have lost control and rammed into vehicles.

In 2009, more than 100 people burned to death near the central town of Molo after a lorry carrying petrol caught fire.
