Panathinaikos improved their Euroleague record to four wins and two defeats after seeing off Maccabi Tel Aviv in a thrilling encounter at the Olympic Sports Center in Athens.

Chris Singleton delivered a stunning performance in front of his home supporters and ended the night with a career-high 26 points and six rebounds.

He received plenty of help from Nick Calathes, who chipped in with 13 points and 6 assists, while James Gist combined 12 points with 8 rebounds.

Six-times champions Panathinaikos were in front for the first three and a half quarters and at one point led by as many as 16 points.

But with less than six minutes remaining Maccabi launched an impressive comeback and with one minute left on the clock the Israeli side were leading by three.

Pana managed to force overtime and then re-establish control to see out a 83-75 victory.
