Lina Alvarez is no ordinary mother.
At 62, and thanks to medical science, the Spaniard has just given birth to her third daughter – and this, a decade after she had her second baby aged 52, with IVF.
A doctor herself, the new mum told reporters in Lugo, northwestern Spain, that she couldn’t be happier. She will be breastfeeding the new arrival, also named Lina, as well as giving her little girl bottle feeds.
