A Namibian boxer was arrested on suspicion of attempting to sexually assault a room maid at the Rio Olympic Village, Brazilian police said late on Monday.

Jonas Junius, a 22-year-old competing in the light welter division, allegedly grabbed a maid and tried to kiss her and offering the victim money to sleep with him.

The incident is the second involving a boxer and attempted sexual assault. Last week, Morocco’s Hassan Saada, competing in the 81 kilogram category, was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting two room maids at the Olympic Village.
