Gobi, the stray dog who ran behind an extreme runner for 125km on a race across China, is to be reunited with the man he followed.
Thanks to donations made on a crowd funding page, the canine companion will now be following Australian Dion Leonard back to his home in Scotland.
Having smashed the initial 5,000-pound target, Leonard says the left over funds will be donated to a dog shelter.
Gobi is currently in a four-month quarantine programme, but it is hoped she will travel to Scotland in time for Christmas.
