French fans ecstatic after making the quarter finals

French fans went into ecstasy after beating Ireland and making it through to the quarter finals.

In the fan zone at Lyon’s Place Bellecour Irish fans were gracious losers, with one saying the French made for great hosts.

But they did have one request to make: England must be beaten by France if, as is likely, they play in Nice on Monday.
