The first direct flights between the US and Cuba in more than 50 years could begin this autumn (2016).

US President Barack Obama’s government gave the green light for the flights out of Philadelphia. In addition, the US Department of Transportation announced that six airlines have been selected to fly to nine of the island nation’s cities, other than Havana.
