The Cleveland Cavaliers bounced back in emphatic style in Game three of the NBA finals by thrashing reigning champions The Golden State Warriors.

Kyrie Irving was in fine fettle and chipped in with 30 points on the night.

Guard forward JR Smith also got in on the scoring action with 20 points.

But LeBron James was the star man for the Cavs standing tall with a game high 32 points.

James also notched up 11 rebounds as he helped his team recovered from a 33 point defeat in Game two and celebrate a 120-90 victory on home court – much to the delight of the 20 thousand strong partizan crowd.

The leagues most valuable player Steph Curry was kept relatively quiet on the night and posted 19 points for the champs, whose lead is now cut to 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.

The Cavs can now even the finals with victory in Game four which stays in Cleveland and takes place on Friday night.
