Boxing legend Muhammad Ali taken to hospital

Former heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali is in hospital for a respiratory problem.

Family spokesman Bob Gunnell said the boxing great was being treated as a precaution and a brief stay was expected.

The 74-year-old, who has suffered with Parkinson’s disease for a number of years, is said to be in a fair condition.
