Newly crowned champions of Europe Real Madrid have received a rapturous reception in the Spanish capital following their latest victory in the Champions League.
Thousands of the club’s supporters gathered around Cibeles fountain on Sunday morning to celebrate and greet the team who had travelled back from Milan overnight.
The latest triumph against city rivals Atletico means Real have now won Europe’s premier club competition a record 11 times.
