In the May 28th Champions League final Atletico Madrid – who beat Bayern Munich on the away goals rule – will meet either ten-time winners and La Liga rivals Real Madrid or Premier League side Manchester City, who meet at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night in their decisive semi-final second leg.

Cristiano Ronaldo has recovered from a hamstring injury and is expected to start but Karim Benzema is a doubt with a similar problem as Real hunt a 14th final appearance in the competition.

The tie is evenly balanced after a goalless draw at the Etihad a week ago.

Manchester City are seeking a first Champions League final and have Yaya Toure back from a thigh injury.

David Silva is out of action with a hamstring injury while fellow midfielder Samir Nasri is ineligible.
