Clippers too strong for Utah

The Los Angeles Clippers produced a superb display to edge out the Jazz by the narrowest of margins in Salt Lake City on Friday.

Althouth coach Doc Rivers decided to rest Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and J.J. Redic ahead of the playoffs, the visitors came from behind to secure a thrilling win.

Former Atlanta shooting guard Jamal Crawford proved too strong for his opponents as he led the winners with 30 points.

Cole Aldrich scored 21 points and took 18 rebounds while Paul Pierce and Jeff Green each added 18 points to help Los Angeles win for the eighth time in nine games.

The Clippers eventually prevailed 102-99 thanks to a stunning buzzer beater from Crawford, giving them a major boost ahead of their next game against Dallas on Sunday.
