Figures just out show February’s unemployment rate in the euro area stood at 10.3 percent.
That is down 0.1 percent on the previous month and is the lowest rate recorded in the bloc since August 2011.
Across the European Union as a whole, the unemployment rate was 8.9 percent in February, stable compared to January and down on the same time last year.
