Stage 2 of the Tour of Catalonia began with a minutes silence for the victims of the Brussels bombings.
Belgium is at the very heart of the cycling.
Once the racing got underway it was Nacer Bouhani who claimed the stage to make it two out of two in Catalonia for the French Cofidis rider.

Bouhani is the new sprinter on the podium.
The 25-year-old has won a stage in the Tour of Andalusia and at Paris-Nice.
Bouhani finished ahead of the Belgian duo Gianni Meersmann and Philippe Gilbert.
Bohani also leads he race overall.
