It’s the no-nonsense approach to vote counting likely to give legal officers the jitters.
Staff at an election count in Ireland were left scrambling for solutions after keys to a ballot box were lost, reports the Irish Independent.
With no replacement keys forthcoming, a hacksaw was used to prise open the box in Sligo, north-west Ireland.

Final election results are set to be declared on Monday, with exit polls suggesting the republic is on course for a hung parliament.
