Colombia international Jackson Martinez has left Atletico Madrid after just seven months and signed with Chinese Super League club Guangzhou Evergrande.

At the Luiz Felipe Scolari-coached side Martinez will link up with fellow South Americans Paulinho and Ricardo Goulart after signing a four year deal worth a whopping 42 million Euros.
The 29-year-old striker joins Guangzhou only seven months after being transferred to Atletico from Porto last July for some 35 million euros.
His move continues Chinese clubs’ expensive global shopping spree for talent which includes Chelsea’s Ramires and AS Roma striker Gervinho.
