F1 Powerboat: Philippe Chiappe retains world title

France’s Philippe Chiappe held his nerve to retain his F1 Powerboat World Championship title at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Friday.

The 52-year-old finished just behind rival Alex Carella, enough to secure the overall win with one race remaining in Sharjah.
