Donald Trump’s highly controversial proposal to ban Muslims from entering the USA is only the latest in a catalogue of outspoken remarks that have outraged many outside of his own fan base.

Never scared to say what he thinks, or even to speak before he thinks, Trump has managed to offend a wide range of the American population.
