Haiti: at least 1 person killed in post-election violence in capital

At least one person has been killed in post-election violence in Haiti’s capital, Port-au-Prince

It came after the announcement that ruling party candidate Jovenel Moise and former government executive Jude Celestin will face each other in a run-off vote.

Third placed candidate, Moise Jean-Charles, has alleged that ballots supporting him were destroyed.
