At the World Travel Market 2015 in London, the leading event for the global travel industry, euronews spoke to Nuno Martins from Cabo Verde Investments about how the small island group of Cape Verde surprises with its uniqueness.

Cape Verde tries to sell its uniqueness. It is impossible for us to compete with the big sharks but its uniqueness can offer a lot. It is a small country and as I usually say it is the most welcoming country in the Atlantic. Cape Verde has a strong potential. Our tourism is mostly based on a sun-and-beach concept but the characteristics of the island are so diverse that we have a lot to offer in the rural sector, in sports, basically I will rephrase: it is the uniqueness of Cape Verde.
