At the World Travel Market 2015 in London, the leading event for the global travel industry, euronews spoke to H.E. Hisham Zaazou, Tourism Minister of Egypt, about how the well-known tourism destination could even further diversify its offer.

We need to make the quality of our offerings better, we need to get more zoomed into on specifics, for instance I have discovered that we have one of the best spots for windsurfing in the world. So why not, within the adventure travel, which is the safaris and the diving, to create those new products and that is what we are trying to do at the moment. Plus, some niche markets like golfing. We should still not forget that the two main products are the beach tourism on the Red Sea or the Mediterranean coast plus the cultural tourism, which connects Cairo, Luxor, Assuan and Abu Simbel, where our rich history is located.
