There are fears for the environment after a Dutch freighter and a tanker collided near the North Sea port of Zeebrugge, off the Belgian coast.

The freighter is now leaking oil into the surrounding waters. Dutch media reports a clean-up operation is underway.

All 12 aboard were saved, however, at least one crew member has been taken to hospital to be treated for hypothermia and another for minor injuries.
