Indonesia locals hampered by haze from outlawed crop-burning

Haze resulting from crop burning has been hampering residents in Indonesia. People living on Sumatra and Kalimantan were given face masks by the country’s military.

Green groups say the government needs to do more to tackle the outlawed practice which clears forest areas for paper-pulp and palm oil planting.
