A court in Kuwait has sentenced seven people to death over a suicide bombing in June, according to state news agency KUNA.

The attack, at a Shi’ite Muslim mosque, killed 27 people.
KUNA said the Kuwait criminal court also gave eight other suspects prison sentences ranging from two to 15 years.
The court acquitted 14 other defendants.
