A court in Lyon, France has upheld a 2012 ruling finding US biotech company Monsanto guilty of chemically poisoning a French farmer.

Grain grower Paul François says he suffered neurological problems after inhaling the company’s Lasso weedkiller.

The Lyon Appeals Court found Monsanto “responsible” and ordered it to “fully compensate” the farmer.
