Police in Australia say they seized 45 kilos of cannabis and other drugs from a light plane in an airport raid in New South Wales.

It comes amid an eight month long investigation in which firearms have also been found.

The 67-year-old pilot was arrested on the tarmac of Deniliquin Airport as part of the drug trafficking probe thought to involve motorbike gangs.
