A federal judge in New York has overturned Tom Brady’s four-game ban handed down by the NFL for his alleged involvement in the “Deflategate” scandal.
Brady – who is the New England quarterback – was found guilty by the NFL of colluding with his team mates to deflate footballs below the allowed limit during a playoff game.
However on Thursday a judge overturned the ban calling the league’s disciplinary process “fundamentally unfair”.
Brady will now be available to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on 10 September.
